Three Degrees of Firmness: All of the innerspring units are "Holland made" units.
By changing the unit, you can change the degree of firmness which you may select.
"Regular" is the softest, "Medo" is medium firm, "Firm" is the most popular, and
"Extra Firm" is the firmest we have.
Handfilled: All fillings material is placed in the mattress by hand. This enables the
mattress makers to shape the matterss, putting more material where there will be
the most body weight. This "crowning" of the mattress assures better wear.
Hand Sewn Borders: All borders are stitched by hand
Handles: Two cord type handles are placed horizontally on each side of the border
to permit turning of the mattress
Thin buttons: With hand filling, it is necessary to tie the mattress. To do this, Charles
H. Beckley uses a small flat metal button and a small link chain that is threaded through
the mattress. The link chain is far stronger than twine or doth tape.
Ticking: You may select from a variety of different 100% cotton woven ticking in
various colors and patterns. Our mattresses are made of the finest materials, filled with
sterilized hair, high quality cotton, polyester or foam, depending on the type you select:
